Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and WorldWurks LLC ("Bash", "we") for the use of bash.games and the games it runs. You accept them by creating an account or buying a bash, and you confirm you are 18 or older.

The product

A Bash purchase ($49.99) covers one party: every game, for one event, active for 6 months from the day of purchase. Guests join free from their phones and never need accounts. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

The access window

Your bash expires 6 months after purchase. If your event moves outside the window, contact us and we will fit the window to the event. Any paid extension is a separate one-time purchase for a stated number of months; it does not renew.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. You must confirm your email address before buying or running a bash.
• Do not create accounts by automated means.

What you upload, and other people's photos

• You own what you upload. You give us the license we need to store it, transform it as the games require, and show it inside your party, for as long as the party exists, and to keep the records described in our privacy policy.
• When you add a photo or a profile for someone else, you confirm you have that person's permission for everything described in the media consent policy, and you are responsible if you do not.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, anything showing a person under 18, sexual or violent content, or material you have no right to use. We screen photos automatically and may remove content or close an account that breaks this rule.
• The games make fictional, transformed versions of people for entertainment inside the party. Do not present generated media as a real likeness or use it to harass or deceive anyone.

Payments and refunds

• Payment is taken once, by Stripe, at the price shown at checkout after any discount code.
• Refunds: you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase as long as setup has not started, meaning nothing personalized has been added to your bash yet (no names, photos or recordings). Email support@bash.games from the email you bought with. Once setup has started, the purchase is final, because personalizing a bash has real costs for us. If Bash does not work as described and we cannot fix it, we will refund you.
• Prices may change for future purchases; a purchase you already made is not affected.

What we promise, and what we do not

• We work to keep the service available around your event, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that every generated image or video will succeed. When a generation fails, the games fall back to simpler versions so play continues.
• The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the bash in question.

Fair use

One bash is one party. Sharing your room code with your guests is the whole point; reselling access, running a business on one purchase, or interfering with the service is not. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Ending things

You can delete players, a party, or your account at any time. Deleting a party removes its content as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end access for abuse or non-payment, with a refund where the fault is ours.

Legal

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, and disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. When we change these terms in a way that matters, we update the date above and email organizers with active parties first.
